Sunday School Water Project
This past year Zion’s Sunday School has collected $1,032.50 in it’s offerings.
This includes the special funds for the water project. From his cross, Jesus Cried out, “I thirst.” Today, Christ hears the prayers of every family thirsting for clean water.
We plan to use this offering to purchase 2 water pumps ($205) for families in Latin America. 2 home cisterns for families in Uganda ($275). 48 water jugs to transport clean water ($10).
Thank you for acting on your faith and being answered prayers for families that long for a simple glass of water.
Did you know: 3.5 million people die of water-related diseases each year. 84% of water-related deaths occur in children under age 14. Water is often called Blue Gold in countries that have frequent famine. Every 15 seconds, a child dies from a water-related disease, that’s 4 deaths per minute!
Sunday School Rally Day is September 13 at 9 a.m. This year we’ll be studying the Book of Mark.
