West Virginia Mission Trip
July 23, 2009
Ten high school youth and three adults will venture to Martinsburg, West Virginia July 26—August 1. We will be partnering with 400 other youth to do home repair projects during the week. This year’s theme is “Reveal”. The concept is taken from Luke 4:18-19 “The Spirit of the LORD is upon me, for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free, and that the time of the LORD’s favor has come.” Please keep us in your prayers during our week of service. We hope to go again next year, looking at New Hampshire or Maine — sign-up will be early this fall for summer of 2010. Thank you to everyone who donated to our can and bottle drive for this trip — we raised $621.50. THANKS!!!!!
